Every dog is an individual. Breed, temperament, age, previous experiences, and learning ability can all influence how quickly a dog progresses and what the final outcome looks like.
Just as importantly, your participation matters. Training doesn't stop when a lesson ends or when your dog comes home from a program. The time, consistency, and follow-through you put into practicing what you've learned will play a significant role in making those new behaviors reliable and long-lasting.

Our mission is to offer fast, effective professional dog training that is a positive experience, reliable in real-world situations, and lasts for the life of the dog. Popular Central California dog trainer Felix Sunga and our team work with all levels of behavior issues in dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes; however, we are sought out for our success with large, difficult-to-train, and/or hard-to-handle dogs, or those described as “failing” previous dog training attempts. Although our methods are dog-centered and 100% humane, in the world of dog training, we are known as the final stop for disobedient dogs.
Customizable Dog Training
All dogs are different. As are all owners.
Everyone has their own goals and grievances, time frame, schedule, budget, and level of skill in working with their dog. So while we offer three basic programs for the Central Valley area, each is completely customizable to fit the needs of you and your pet. We’ll work with you to devise a solution that involves you in the training as much or as little as you prefer; in other words, you’re in control of the pace, frequency, and even the method used to train your dog.

Dog Training Results
Great dog training isn't one-size-fits-all. Rather than committing to a single training method, we draw from a wide range of proven techniques and tailor our approach to the individual dog, the behavior we're addressing, and the owner's goals and preferences.
We use food, praise, play, and motivation to teach and reinforce desired behaviors, while also incorporating appropriate pressure when needed to establish clear boundaries and address unwanted or potentially dangerous behaviors. The level and type of pressure we use is always based on the individual dog and what that dog responds to appropriately.
We believe effective training should create clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm—not fear. Our goal is to build behaviors that are reliable and long-lasting in the real world while preserving the personality and spirit of the dog.
Ultimately, we don't simply want a dog that listens. We want a dog that
understands what is being asked, enjoys working with you, and becomes a true partner in everyday life.

Award-Winning Dog Trainer
In 1998, Felix interviewed for a job at the San Francisco SPCA Hearing Dog Program. When he began, his abilities to train dogs to a high level came to the forefront and were evidenced by his ability to train his demo dog very quickly. Within 2 months of his employment, his demo dog “Whimsy” became a star in the world of hearing dogs. At this time, Felix completely re-vamped a hearing dog training system that once took 6 months to complete and is now 2 months from completion to completion. He also improved the rescue dog-to-serviceable hearing dog ratio from 35% to an all-time high of 77%.
